Abstract

This dossie presents the collection of texts selected for the 16th edition of the journal and highlights the importance of linking sustainability and social innovation to training processes and paths in higher education, especially in the areas of Arts, Fashion and Design.

Author Biographies

Valdecir Babinski Júnior, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)

He is a PhD candidate in Design at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He holds a master's degree in Clothing and Fashion Design (2020) from Santa Catarina State University (Udesc). He has a postgraduate degree in marketing (2018) from the University of São Paulo (USP). He graduated in Fashion (2014) from Udesc. He is currently a researcher in the Academic Excellence Program (Proex) of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).

Luiz Fernando Gonçalves de Figueiredo, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

He holds a PhD in Production Engineering (2000) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering (1995) from UFSC. He has a degree in Sanitary Engineering (1988) from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). He is currently a full professor at UFSC, where he coordinates the Systemic Approach to Design Center (NAS-Design).
