Drawing and information design in education: an interview with Professor Solange G. Coutinho

This interview was conducted with Professor Solange Galvão Coutinho, lecturer at the Department of Design and the Graduate Program in Design at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Professor Coutinho researches in the areas of design/education, graphic language and Brazilian graphic memory. The aim of this interview is to get to know the researcher's professional career and her approach to teaching and research in design and education. Furthermore, this interview seeks to understand her experiences with the Information Design Research Group (GP InfoDesign) and the International Network on Design/Education (GP RIDE), looking at recent research and how these studies contribute to the integration of design and education.
