Focus and Scope

Revista de Ciências Agroveterinárias (ISSN 2238-1171) -Journal of Agroveterinary Sciences - focuses on publishing original and unpublished tecnical-scientific works regarding on researches in Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences and related areas.

MISSION

The objective of this journal is to publish double-blind peer reviewed research articles, research notes and review articles contributing significantly for scientific knowledge diffusion and socialization, being made available to the public interested in scientific activities on plants, animals and related organisms.

Publication Frequency

Articles are published quarterly (until March, June, September and December) starting from 2017.

Brief history of the journal

The Revista de Ciências Agroveterinárias (ISSN 2238-1171) or Journal of Agroveterinary Sciences was released in 2002. After 2004, the manuscripts were published electronically whose content is freely available http://rca.cav.udesc.br/.

Since 2014, the journal started to use the Open Journal System (SEER/OJS) for handling and publishing through the webpage https://periodicos.udesc.br/index.php/agroveterinaria/. Electronic backup and preservation of access to the Journal is assured by the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC).

Starting from 2015 the Journal is only available electronically. The Journal started to use DOI (digital object identifier) in its publications.
