Abstract

The main goaI of interaction design is to develop products with application usability involving the users. The objective of this research was to evaluate the application of Branding TXM methodology steps in the Interaction design process of the project - "Present’s Future:  Space for observation, analysis and interpretation of signs" (FPlab). This methodology provides the participation of the management and the project team, as well as the users, considering their experience and interface with the products. In the case study limits, qualitative, exploratory and descriptive methods of research were used. The results indicated that the brand re-design was made and other things were met, like the results of SWOT analysis, confirming that the methodology of the objectives have been achieved.

Giorgio Gilwan da Silva, UNIVALI - Universidade do Vale do Itajaí

Coordinator of the Graphic Design Technological Course, of the Bachelors in Design with Training Line in Game Design and Digital Entertainment and Publicity and Propaganda. He coordinated the CST in Advertising Production, Photography and the Post-Graduation in Illustration, University of Vale do Itajaí, Campus Florianópolis. Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the University for the Development of the State of Santa Catarina, UDESC (2005), Specialization in Graphic Design and Corporate Strategy UNIVALI (2006) and Master's Degree from the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management at the Federal University of Santa Catarina Catarina EGC/UFSC (CAPES Concept 6) (2011). PhD in the Graduate Program in Design at UFSC, 2015/2018.

Giselle Schmidt Alves Díaz Merino, UDESC

Researcher CNPq - PQ 1D in the area of ​​Industrial Design. She received the CAPES TESE Award (2020) as a supervisor, in the area of ​​Architecture, Urbanism and Design. Santa Catarina (UFSC). Post Doctorate in Human Factors from the State University of Santa Catarina with an internship at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain (2017). PhD in Production Engineering, with emphasis on Product and Process Engineering in the research line of Design Project Methodologies from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2014). Master in Design by the Graduate Program in Design in the line of Design Management, by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2010). Graduated in Drawing from the University of the State of Santa Catarina (1997). Courses at the University of Salamanca (Spain). He has training in Group Processes and Team Coordination. Project Coordinator at the Design Management Center and at the Design and Usability Laboratory at the Federal University of Santa Catarina since 2000. Teaches disciplines such as: Design Management; Human-Centered Design; Ergonomics and Usability in Products and Services; Design Project Methodologies; Packaging Design; Assistive Technologies, among others. He advises undergraduate and graduate students at specialization, master's, doctoral and post-doctoral levels. Member of the Assistive Technology Research and Development Network (RPDTA), projects in partnership with UFPE (Occupational Therapy and Engineering), UFPB (design). His research focuses on: Design Management, Design and Health, Human-Centered Design, Assistive Technology, Universal/Inclusive Design in Products and Services.

Tiago Vinicius Ficagna, UNIVALI

He holds a degree in Industrial Design and a postgraduate degree in Graphic Design and Corporate Strategies from the University of Vale do Itajaí (2002). Master in Applied Computing at UNIVALI. He is currently a professor at the University of Vale do Itajaí. He has experience in Graphic Design and Game Design with an emphasis on Interface Design and 3d modeling, working mainly in the following disciplines: interface, semiotics and game development and web development.
