O artigo contextualiza a voz no Teatro de Mamulengo, e consequentemente a voz no teatro de bonecos enquanto teatro de rua bem como as peculiaridades de tipos e timbres que esta proposta cênica abarca. Trata também de alguns aspectos de sua fusão com outras artes populares que envolvem a voz como meio de expressão. O texto também aponta para a cosmologia do pensamento deste mestre criador, bem como suas singularidades.
