Abstract

Sonhos Sujos is part of Leticia Cardoso’s doctoral research in Contemporary Artistic Processes, directed by Professor Dr. Marta Martins since 2017, when the visual artist while living at Sobrado na Ladeira during the Artistic Residency Award at Elisabete Anderle in 2017 finds that the space during the nineteenth and twentieth century was a sanatorium with experimental treatments for hysteria disorder. During the excavation was found a chest with letters, audios, videos and a wall strikethrough with words and covered by color. The erratic conversation was held between Fábio Noronha and Letícia Cardoso, on September 1st, 2018, in the basement of Sobrado in Ladeira, where the residence was held in Lagoa da Conceição, Santa Catarina Island.

Author Biographies

Leticia de Brito Cardoso, Santa Catarina State University

Letícia Cardoso é natural de Criciúma, graduada em Artes Plásticas na UDESC, mestre em Poéticas Visuais no Programa de Pós-graduação do Instituto de Artes da UFRGS e doutoranda no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais, da UDESC, onde é atualmente professora colaboradora de pintura. É também professora de pintura afastada da UNESC, para realizar o doutorado. Recebeu em 2009 a Bolsa Iberê Camargo de intercâmbio para artistas, em Austin, Texas; participou do Programa Rumos Itaú Cultural em (2001/2003) e do Programa Faxinal das Artes, residência de Artistas Plásticos Contemporâneos na vila de Faxinal do Céu, Pinhão, Paraná, (2002). Também participou de diversas exposições como "Primavera", individual na galeria Arco em Florianópolis em 2006, "O Museu entre gestos e registros dispersos", individual no Museu Victor Meirelles em Florianópolis, da mostra comemorativa dos 70 anos do Masc (Museu de Arte de Santa Catarina), além de diversas exposições coletivas em Santa Catarina e em outros Estados. Fundou e coordenou o Arquipélago, espaço de arte contemporânea em Florianópolis, que funcionou entre 2008 e 2010. Trabalhou no Museu Victor Meirelles/IBRAM de 2013 a 2015.

 

Fabio Jabur Noronha, University of the State of Paraná

Sou artista plástico e, desde 1996, professor na Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNESPAR), no campus de Curitiba 1, onde coordeno, desde 2017, o Laboratório Experimental de Vídeo (L.EX.VIDEO). Sou credenciado pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Cinema e Artes do Vídeo (MESTRADO/PPG-CINEAV/UNESPAR). Tenho doutorado em Artes Visuais - Poéticas Visuais - pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre-RS, com orientação da professora doutora Sandra Rey (2009-2013); e mestrado em Artes Visuais - Poéticas Visuais - também pela UFRGS, com a mesma orientação (2005-2006). Possuo graduação em Pintura (1994) e pós-graduação em História da Arte do Século XX (UNESPAR/EMBAP), com orientação do professor doutor Tadeu Chiarelli (2001-2002).
