Author Biography

Denise di Santos, Teatro Lambe-Lambe / ABTB Centro Unima Brasil

Pedagoga, autodidata e militante pela liberdade de criar, Denise Batista dos Santos, conhecida como Denise Di Santos nasceu em Tom Zé de Irará. Em 1975 começou a trabalhar com educação e teatro de boneco, sendo chamada para fazer um grande projeto no Pelourinho por volta de 1982, “Os doces da Rainha”. Junto a Elias Bonfim, Evandro Nere, Ismine Lima, Gil Teixeira, Noli Silva e Piter Leão, fundou a Associação de Teatro de Bonecos em setembro de 1985. Quatro anos depois nasce o Teatro Lambe-Lambe.
