Abayomi e Casemiro Coco, bonecos negros em cena: relato de uma experiência na Educação Básica.

Este artigo se dedica a relatar e analisar a experiência que tive no Estágio Su- pervisionado do curso de Licenciatura em Teatro da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA) com uma turma do 4o ano do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Comunitária Pinóquio, localizada no bairro do Anjo da Guarda, em São Luís – MA, na qual busquei experimentar o Teatro de Bonecos como uma linguagem artístico-pedagógica capaz de problematizar as questões das relações étnico-raciais, tendo em vista a implemen- tação da Lei 10.639/2003 (Obrigatoriedade do ensino da história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira), por meio da confecção e animação de dois bonecos negros, Abayomi (boneco de manipulação direta) e Casemiro Coco (boneco de luva).
