Abstract: Dramaturgy is a key-concept in the meta-language of Theatre Studies. It is conventional understood as an essential field in the construction of a theatre performance, as a practice of reading of text in articulation with its passage to the scene. Given that it is unsuitable to the artistic identity of classical or traditional puppet theatre focused on the puppet, the term seems to have earned real importance since puppet theatre has incorporated the man changes found in contemporary theatre.
Key-words: Dramaturgy; text; puppetry.
