Magazine history
Móin-Móin: the name of this publication is a tribute to the puppeteer Margarethe Schlünzen, that passed away in August 1978 and, during the decades of 1950 and 1960, delighted children of Jaraguá do Sul (Santa Catarina, Brasil) with her performances. She was always received effusively in schools by the choir guten Morgen, guten Morgen (“good morning, good morning” in german). The expression made the puppeteer’s work known as “Móin-Móin Theater”
The Móin-Móin Magazine is a publication that started in 2005 as a joint action of the Postgraduate Program in Theater (Master and Doctorate) of the Santa Catarina State University - UDESC, within the Extension Program Professional Training in Santa Catarina’s Theater, and the Artistic Culture Society of Jaraguá do Sul - SCAR.
At UDESC, this action integrates Teaching, Research and Extension, also mobilizing graduate and postgraduate scholarship students who, under the coordination of teachers, actively participate in all stages of the publication process.
