O artigo enfoca as contradições existentes na dimensão histórica, especialment equando se pensa as “artes de fazer”. Contrapõe arte e ciência, história científica e história ideológica, finalizando com considerações sobre o presente, quando o trabalho analítico deve deixar de ser um trabalho de luto para voltar-se às constituintes da democracia.
