La memoria antes que el recuerdo: museos y guerra en Ucrania

Resumen

Este artículo pretende analizar los significados que la memoria, el patrimonio y el uso del pasado adquieren en la Ucrania contemporánea. Para ello, trata de analizar cómo opera la relación memoria-patrimonio-política a través de algunos ejemplos de patrimonialización y exposiciones en tres museos de Kiev. La primera en el Museo Maidan con objetos recogidos en zonas de guerra, la segunda en el Museo Nacional de Historia de Ucrania en la Segunda Guerra Mundial llamada Ucrania - Crucifixión y la tercera en el Museo de Fragmentos de Guerra. Las tres exposiciones tienen lugar simultáneamente al estado de guerra en el que se encuentra sumida Ucrania desde el 24 de febrero de 2022 con la invasión rusa del país. El objetivo era analizar cómo se articulan las nociones de museo y memoria cuando el presente aún está en curso, sugiriendo una nueva relación con el tiempo. Teniendo en cuenta el contexto bélico del país, las reflexiones presentadas en este artículo son el resultado de una observación de los materiales disponibles en las páginas web de las instituciones museísticas mencionadas, así como de artículos periodísticos publicados en la prensa internacional.
