Títeres prehispánicos de Mesoamérica: una página de la historia del teatro de muñecos en América Latina

Artículo que demuestra la existencia de títeres y titiriteros en varias culturas de América varios siglos antes de la llegada de los conquistadores europeos. Basándose en textos antiguos, imágenes de códices centenarios y figurillas expuestas en múltiples museos y colecciones, el autor presenta un breve panorama de la diversidad de muñecos y técnicas titiriteras arraigadas fundamentalmente en la región conocida como Mesoamérica, apéndice desde antiguo de las Américas del sur y del norte.
