Abstract

Artigo escrito a partir de entrevista cedida por Fernando Augusto Gonçalves Santos, em setembro de 2014, em Olinda – Pernambuco. Foram acrescentadas informações extraídas de documentos oferecidos, pesquisados e em arquivos guardados por mais de trinta anos, durante os quais o autor acompanha parte desta trajetória em diferentes frentes de trabalho como o Teatro de Bonecos, o Mamulengo e em atividades
ligadas às artes e à cultura popular de Pernambuco. Registramos que, considerando o volume de informações e do material disponível, foi feita uma seleção de pontos cabíveis dentro do espaço do artigo.

Humberto Braga, ABTB – UNIMA – Rio de Janeiro

Profissional de Artes Cênicas, diretor de produção e consultor de projetos artísticos. Ocupou cargos em instituições federais de cultura como o Instituto Nacional de Artes Cênicas – INACEN, a Fundação Nacional de Artes – FUNARTE e a Secretaria de Música e Artes Cênicas, do Ministério da Cultura. Integrou a diretoria da Associação Brasileira de Teatro de Bonecos – ABTB em vários períodos.
