Abstract

Partindo das observações de Bernard Dort e das obras de Didier-Georges
Gabily, Tadeusz Kantor e Valère Novarina, o artigo discute a especificidade do feito teatral como ação crítica capaz de fornecer opções aos modelos produzidos e difundidos pela indústria do divertimento. Para tanto, analisa alguns fenômenos que colocam o espaço do palco como local de emergência, de transformação e de desaparição do corpo do ator. Ao investigar os processos de exploração de diferentes registros da presença e corporificação de ficções, discute também a materialização da dupla encarnação do ator e o encontro entre o ator e seus simulacros como potencial crise capaz de desconstruir as representações midiáticas do homem.

Doutor em Estudos Teatrais e professor na Université Paul Valéry – Montpellier III, França. Trabalha no Départament des Arts du Spetacle. Pesquisa teatro moderno e contemporâneo, as relações do teatro com as outras artes, teatro de marionetes e novas tecnologias. Autor de Les Mais de Lumière. Anthologie des Écrits sur L’art de la Marionnette (1996) e L’acteur en Effigie (1992). Atualmente, é editor da Revista Puck – le Marionnette et les autres arts, do Instituto Internacional da Marionete, de Charleville-Mézières – França.
