A diretora teatral Claire Dancoisne apresenta, de modo muito pessoal, seus percurso artístico na direção do Théâtre La Licorne; nomeia as influências de artistas em seus trabalhos como Ariane Mnouchkine, Tadeusz Kantor, o escritor Gabriel García Márquez e o escultor Jean Tinguely. O texto evidencia a sua opção por trabalhar com máscaras e objetos, e as estreitas relações entre teatro e artes visuais; a frequente opção por encenar espetáculos sem texto e as características profissionais e artísticas do elenco que dirige. Anuncia um novo projeto de trabalho, a criação do Centro Europeu para a Marionete Contemporânea e para o Teatro de Objetos, em Dunquerque, no norte da França.
