Abstract

O texto apresenta reflexões e conceitos que norteiam as investigações
e as práticas teatrais da Companhia Teatro Lumbra de Animação nos seus processos de pesquisa, formação, criação, produção e encenação com o teatro de sombras. São conclusões ainda provisórias, baseadas em diferentes experiências realizadas com distintos públicos para formar um registro teórico dos procedimentos práticos utilizados para desenvolver as dramaturgias dos espetáculos e das performances que compõem o
repertório da companhia. Alguns desses estudos procuram organizar o processo criativo do sombrista e aperfeiçoar a ideia de uma sombratização na arte de representar obras com sombras, luzes e sons.

Sombrista, cenógrafo, diretor e fundadorda Cia Teatro Lumbra de Animação (2000), Porto Alegre/RS. Suas encenações unem a arte, a ciência, a filosofia, a psicologia, o
sobrenatural e o folclore brasileiro. As pesquisas sobre a dramaturgia da sombra em seus espetáculos lhe renderam prêmios e resultaram em vivências para a formação artística e assessorias profissionais para grupos.
