Abstract

Apresento neste artigo um recorte descritivo e reflexivo acerca do Teatro de
Bonecos Popular em Brasília, Distrito Federal. As bases documentais do que será abordado aqui foram organizadas e produzidas durante o período da pesquisa de campo do processo de registro do Teatro de Bonecos Popular do Nordeste: Mamulengo, Babau, Cassimiro Coco, João Redondo realizado pelo IPHAN – Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional e pela ABTB – Associação Brasileira de Teatro de Bonecos.
