Abstract

This makes a general presentation of the problem of Education and Pandemic in Latin America, taking into account different aspects. On the one hand, it reviews and systematizes information produced in 2020 regarding the closure of schools in the different countries. On the other hand, it analyzes some aspects that are considered conditioning factors for the development of distance education strategies and activities carried out through different means: the situation of connectivity and access to digital technologies; the participation of students, teachers and members of the educational community in dynamics of use of technologies; the incidence of current literacy models, among others. Finally, it reflects on the implications of moving school routines and activities within the home.
