History of the Journal
The Apotheke Journal aims to investigate and disseminate research on the theme of Painting and its practice as an artistic language. The concerns that drive this production involve questions about how to develop a practical and theoretical study on teaching painting. Thus, the Journal is part of the subjects on, “Art Education through painting: artistic production and the artist teacher”, revealing the need to deepen and share the creative process and construction of knowledge in Art and about Art, having as a generating axis the pictorial process in the plastic production of the artist/teacher/researcher. The Apotheke Journal proposes to present works in articulation with the research of artistic practices and their relationship with Art/Education. With a focus on studies and theoretical reflections on painting and its teaching/learning context, not in the sense of direct implications in the school environment, but rather, in the sense of building the perspective, repertoire and perception of those who produce and can also teach Art, that is, the artist/teacher/researcher.
