Resumo
Medeia Negra (2018) concebida e interpretada por Marcia Lima, em Salvador, Bahia, baseada
na reescritura do mito grego, concede voz ao corpo feminino negro, apagado pela violência
da colonização/escravidão, na invisibilidade do sistema penitenciário. Nesta versão ela cria
uma personagem feita de frases, vivências e depoimento de mulheres privadas de liberdade.
O objetivo deste estudo consiste em revisar os conceitos e dispositivos cênicos usados para
representar esse corpo forçosamente silenciado, que retorna transformado em fragmentos
de histórias, barulhos, gritos, espectros e canções.

Abstract
Medeia Negra (2018), conceived and performed by Marcia Lima, in Salvador, Bahia, based on
the rewriting of the Greek myth, gives voice to the black female body, erased by the violence
of colonization/slavery, in the invisibility of the penitentiary system. In this version she creates
a character made up of phrases, experiences and testimony from women deprived of their
freedom. The objective of this study is to review the concepts and scenic devices used to
represent this forcibly silenced body, which returns transformed into fragments of stories,
noises, screams, specters and songs.

Resumen
Medeia Negra (2018), concebida e interpretada por Marcia Lima, en Salvador, Bahía, a partir
de la reescritura del mito griego, da voz al cuerpo femenino negro, silenciado por la violencia
de la colonización/esclavitud, en la invisibilidad del sistema penitenciario. En esta versión
crea un personaje compuesto por frases, vivencias y testimonios de mujeres privadas de su
libertad. El objetivo de este estudio es revisar los conceptos y dispositivos escénicos
utilizados para representar este cuerpo forzosamente silenciado, que regresa transformado
en fragmentos de historias, ruidos, gritos, espectros y canciones.
