Resumo

Alguns professores afirmam que o uso do computador desumaniza o ensino, sem se dar conta de que a própria escola é uma tecnologia cercada por inúmeras outras tecnologias, que vão desde o livro ou a linguagem usada até o controle da aprendizagem. O presente trabalho divide-se em duas partes intituladas de “O uso de instrumentos na construção da inteligência” e “A educação escolar como tecnologia social” que além de caracterizarem as sociedades orais, letradas e informatizadas de acordo com as tecnologias intelectuais predominantes em cada uma delas, ressaltam as mudanças que as tecnologias estimulam na construção do conhecimento e das conexões cognitivas, principalmente na sociedade tecnológica e o papel da escola nesse ínterim.

Abstract: Some teachers refute the use of the computer in classroom, but they don't notice that the own school is an enclosed technology for other countless technologies, that space from the book to the control of the learning. The present work becomes separated in two entitled parts of "The use of instruments in the construction of the intelligence" and the school education as social technology" that besides they characterize the societies oral, learned and computerized in agreement with the you, the changes that the technologies stimulate in the construction of the knowledge stand out and of the cognitive connections, mainly in the technological society and the paper of the school in that process.
