A GESTÃO DA INFORMAÇÃO NO CONTEXTO DA GESTÃO ESCOLAR <br> INFORMATION MANAGEMENT IN MANAGEMENT SCHOOL CONTEXT

Resumo

Numa sociedade marcada pelo valor estratégico do conhecimento e da informação, as questões relativas à gestão da informação nas organizações tornam-se prementes. As organizações escolares, enquanto centros onde o conhecimento e a informação marcam a sua especificidade e legitimidade institucional, não podem escamotear esta problemática. É nossa intenção neste trabalho alertar para a importância que o estudo das questões relativas à gestão da informação deve ocupar nas organizações escolares, não só enquanto mecanismo ao serviço de um melhor funcionamento operacional das escolas, mas também enquanto novas problemáticas que interferem nas concepções pedagógico-organizacionais dos estabelecimentos de educação e ensino.

Abstract: In a society marked by the strategic value of knowledge and information, the issues concerned with information management in organizations become extremely important. School organizations, as centers where knowledge and information mark their institutional specificity and legitimacy, cannot diminish this matter. It is our intention in this paper to draw attention towards the importance that the study of the issues linked with the information management should take in school organizations, not only as a mechanism for a better operational functioning of schools, but also as new issues which interfere with the pedagogical-organizational conceptions of the school establishments.
